Next semester…

Published by jelynbu at 12:35 am under Uncategorized Edit This

I’ve been poring over class schedules for the spring semester, and I think I have a plan. I’ll finish my prerequesites for nursing in December, so I’m moving on to the last of the corequesites and applying to the program. The only things I have left to take are Anatomy & Physiology I and II and Microbiology!  After that, hopefully I’ll be in the program. I won’t have to worry about anything except the nursing core classes and clinicals.

Anyway, I’ve been poring over class schedules. Trying to figure out the best way to coordinate mine with dp’s–who is returning to college for computer networking at the same school. Trying to figure out the best way to do things with dd–who we don’t want in full-time childcare, but we really need to have some time away from her to get things done. There just aren’t enough hours for dp and I to both juggle school, work, and dd, without help. Plus, school is 30-40 minutes away and I don’t like driving (or buying gas, even though the prices have gone doooown). So I try to minimize trips.

It looks like dp and I will be able to drive to school together on Mondays and Wednesdays. We’ll be there from about 1pm to 7pm, getting home just in time to put dd to bed. And grandma says she wants to babysit : ). When he’s in class and I’m not, I’ll get uninterrupted study time. And it feels like I’m in high school or something, riding to school with the boy.
